Description:
TDW Fall Protection Equipment provides security features designed to allow machine operators the access and mobility that they require to perform their work in a safe manner.
TDW fall protection equipment, consisting of work platforms, fall protection booms, harnesses and lifting clamps, is specifically designed for worksite safety of operators on TDW 660, 760, 860 and 1200 Tapping Machines and STOPPLE® Plugging Machines.
- Tapping Machine Work Platforms are easily installed and can be retrofitted to existing machines. Platforms may be removed for ease of handling and to facilitate shipping the tapping machines. Simply remove lock pins and leave the bolted-on brackets in place to allow for quick and easy reattachment.
- Fall Protection Booms accommodate four different hydraulic cylinder sizes ranging from 4-inches and larger.
- The Safety Harness Assembly attaches to firmly secured booms and protects technicians in the event of falling while they are operating equipment.
- Lifting Clamps have recommended locations for attachment to TDW hydraulic cylinders, which will allow an equipment operator to easily and safely reach lifting slings for release or re-attachment.
