BASIC FUNCTION:
Manage the team to insure customer satisfaction through manufacturing and delivery in time of good quality products, to have all HSE rules and requirements known and respected, to have a cost effective organization in accordance with budgets and to develop the competences and the performance of his team.
Accountabilities:
- Insure that the manufactured products are in accordance with the customer specifications.
- Check that the manufacturing is done in accordance with the planning, ask and organize technical modification of the equipment when necessary.
- Create all required conditions for all team members to work safely.
- Develop HSE training and communication (weekly HSE meeting, yellow cards, STOP cards, ..).
- Organize the shift planning, check that the team has enough manpower to reach the objectives.
- Identify the needs in term of competence and polyvalence development, propose the training plans.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Reports to the Production Manager and is able to replace him for short periods. Works in collaboration with other TDW services. Is able to contact and work with TDW suppliers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Technical studies.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in similar function.
- Good communication, team building and team working competences
- Capacity of leadership.
