BASIC FUNCTION:

Develops, manages, and executes a growing and profitable market position working with the RSM/ASM for Pigging Products within the Africa.

Accountabilities:

  • Develops and executes strategies that deliver profitable growth in Africa for ILI consistent with the accepted business plan, with emphasis on achieving the greatest possible sales volume and margins.
  • Engages and works with the RSM/ASM to establish and maintain an ongoing, effective key/target account program.
  • Provides technical expertise and leadership in providing technical solutions to meet customer ILI needs and maximize ILI capabilities and awareness.
  • Leads by example and finds, develops and manages new key/target accounts and establishes relationships with customers in support of TDW’s overall sales efforts.
  • Establishes and maintains credible knowledge and data of competitor product/service offerings, pricing, delivery, technology, and actions.  Ensures the competitive information is communicated through out the organization. Recommends changes to maintain a competitive position.

RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS

Reports to the General Manager Africa.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Engineering degree combined with a strong sales & marketing background.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience ideally in the oil and gas markets with at least 1 years minimum sales/business development experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals.
