In-Line Inspection (Ili) Sales Representative,
Western Region - Houston, Tx


TDW MAGIPIE® is a company specializing in Magnetic Pipeline Inspection Systems for the Petroleum industry. We are experiencing growth in both our domestic and global operations. As a growing company TDW MAGPIE is seeking energetic and experienced professionals for the following position:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Analyzes and evaluates the customers’ pipeline integrity needs and provides technical solutions utilizing TDW pipeline integrity products and services.  Works with NASS in providing technical support on all pipeline integrity products and services.

ABILITIES

  • Supports NASS sales staff in selling TDW pipeline integrity products/services through presentations, technical know-how, meetings, and project review discussions.
  • Provides technical sales assistance to the customer as to inquiries and quotations, complaints, repairs, new product testing, and special problems.  Troubleshoots, trains, and consults on how to improve or overcome pipeline operational challenges to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implements approved sales and marketing strategies for TDW products to key accounts and target accounts in order to meet Annual Bookings Forecast objectives.
  • Monitors competitive activity and market requirements and reports conclusions to Sales Manager, ILI Services USA.
  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as directed by Sales Manager, ILI Services USA.
  • Develops and pursues new business opportunities with customers.
  • Works closely with PI operational units to ensure complete understanding of capabilities and interfaces with our customers on these capabilities.
  • Makes technical sales presentations to customer to complete understanding and application of TDW services and products.

REQUIRMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Three to five years’ experience in pipeline service and/or operations with additional experience in pipeline integrity assessment a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to all levels of organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of pipeline codes and regulations.
