Basic Function: 

Develops and sustains long-term, high–level relationships and large volume sales with assigned accounts for TDW Offshore products and services. Provides customer support with the assigned accounts assuring the customer of the highest level of service.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Develops and implements sales strategies for developing profitable revenue from TDW Offshore’s Pipeline Technology products (subsea hot tap clamps, Pipeline Recovery Tools and custom repair claims) and Smart Plug Services offerings.
  • Establishes both personal and business relationships at all levels within the customer’s organization by understanding the customer and providing solutions to meet the customer’s specific needs for subsea operations.  
  • Develops regional and customer sales penetration strategies which are closely coordinated with the overall global sales strategies for TDW Offshore’s business.

  • Develops and implements approved pricing and promotional strategies to ensure business growth under given market conditions.
  • Conducts on –going customer, competitor, and market analysis to ensure an understanding of the markets and business drivers. Participants and is active in trade shows, industry seminars and professional organizations.
  • Oversees all inquires quotes, proposals, order/contract negotiation. Pre job surveys, pricing (including profitability management), marketing and trade shows associated with assigned accounts ensuring accuracy, timelines, and understanding.
  • Actively supports the Corporate HSE initiative by holding HSE meetings in accordance with Corporate HSE Plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Sales. In lieu of college degree, must have 2-5 years of engineering experience in an offshore environment or 5 to 10 years of technical sales experience selling oil, gas or pipeline products and services
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers, with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency at the Intermediate level.
  • Operations Experience desirable 
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
