The parent company, T.D. Williamson, Inc. (TDW), was founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1920 as an electrical contracting firm serving the emerging petroleum industry's needs for power. TDW supplied electric motors for gas booster stations, drilling oil wells, electric generator stations, and other oil field applications and supervised their installation on site.
Later, the business expanded to provide the first pipeline scrapers for the War Emergency Pipeline System during World War II. Soon after, tapping and plugging equipment for pipeline maintenance was manufactured at the company's first factory in Tulsa.
Today, as the premier piping maintenance company, TDW designs and manufactures engineered systems for monitoring, pigging, tapping, plugging, and inspecting essential piping systems, and also provides these services.
TDW markets its products and services through a worldwide network of sales offices and representatives and from strategically located international service and/or manufacturing facilities in the United States, Belgium, England, India and Singapore.
"Our commitment to you goes beyond product quality. TDW is addressing the quality of its service and delivery system. Delivery of the best possible products and services, where and when needed, is our commitment. Each member of TDW, worldwide, is committed to achieving total quality performance in meeting the requirements of external and internal customers."
